Crystal White Patina is plating resistant, all the other Crystal Patina effects are not plating resistant.
The top coating of Crystal Rose Patina consists of 18 carat rose gold. Alloying additions to gold generally increase the strength and hardness of this precious metal. But when talking about 18 carat
gold, we have to take into consideration that the alloy has a limited abrasion and scratch resistance. For this reason we do not recommend the effect for applications with high mechanical stress, e.g. for watch bands.
